A sizable donation from Party City has made it a little easier for all kids to experience the joy of Halloween. At the Party City Halloween Bash in San Francisco, host Mario Lopez presented a $450,000 check on behalf of Party City to Boys & Girls Clubs of America. The following day, Party City entertained more than 200 children from Bay Area Boy & Girls Clubs to a Halloween event at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom in Vallejo, California. Young people wore Halloween costumes donated by Party City and engaged in trick-or-treating and roller coaster rides, or simply had their pictures taken with Looney Tunes characters like Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck and Porky Pig. "Children are at the heart of Halloween, and Party City is committed to helping kids celebrate this spooktacular holiday in a magical way," said Lisa Laube, President of Party City. "By partnering with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America and raising nearly a half-a-million dollars, Party City helps ensure that the national organization continues its worthwhile mission in communities nationwide." Party City will continue to accept customer donations to Boys & Girls Clubs of America through Oct. 31, 2010.
