On November 24, 2010, Party City opened a Syracuse New York franchise next to PetSmart in the Fairmount Fair Shopping Center, also known as "Target Plaza." The "mega-store" has 15,000 square feet of floor space and carries an expanded selection of party favors, candy, costumes, and theme party supplies. Party City mega-stores contain "stores within the store" -- Favor City, Candy City, and Sports City -- and also offer printing centers for personalized birthday banners, custom invitations, and similar merchandise.
