Derek Lantin's new book, 'Come Here and I'll Show You', has been receiving top 5-Star reviews on Amazon.

“Come here and I’ll Show You” is an adventure novel that takes readers for a wild ride through the jungles of Laos and Cambodian, - and what a ride!

A veteran of the CIA’s “Secret War’ in Laos is hired to return to the jungles to find some missing property. He knows his client is not to be trusted, but she is beautiful, beguiling, and she offers him a fee of US$200,000; the combination wins him over, and then the wild ride begins.

The action is continuous and the book is hard to put down. Get ready for fisticuffs, fire-fights, ambushes, exotic locations and a bevy of exotic ladies. This is not a book for the faint-hearted.

The book is ‘pulpish’ and follows the best traditions of the vintage ‘Pulp novels’ by writers like Mickey Spillane and John MacDonald. The similes and metaphors are outrageous; the language is clipped and colloquial. The men are men and the women are damn glad of it.

Needless to say, the exotic Asian women are fast and dangerous, and the hero is a two-fisted man of action.

Come Here… and I’ll Show You” is an adventure-thriller. The action is not graphic and the seduction all happens ‘off the page’ – although there is plenty to excite the imagination. The book is often amusing, often surprising and always entertaining.

At the risk of sounding corny, the book could be described as a ‘rattling good read for real men.’

To date the book has received over ten top-class reviews on Amazon. The novel is available as an e-Book at http://www.amazon.com.There are also unconfirmed rumours about a film deal, but no details have been published yet
