DRI is proud of its association with Paharpur Business Centre which is an epitome of sustainable development and quality living. PBC is known for its notable initiatives in the area of energy saving, water conservation, water harvesting and Indoor Air Quality (IAQ).

PBC offers, near mountain fresh air, in the heart of New Delhi. To save energy and provide a fresh air supply to 20 CFM per person, DRI Flexomix-480 has been installed which provides 6400 cfm of fresh air to the building. This special unit was installed to improve the quality of indoor air & to fight the ill-effects of sick building syndrome. The healthy Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) maintained in the building improves productivity, as a person does not get tired and feels fresh, thus leading to good health, fewer sick days.

The Indoor Air Quality at PBC meets the specified ASHRAE (American Society for Heating Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers) Standards. A dedicated Indoor Air Quality division equipped with a lab has been set up to continuously monitor and improve the indoor air quality.

A study conducted by CPCB-MOEF, Government of India has found that providing cleaner air reverses the effects  of pollution. People working at Paharpur Business Centre in Nehru Place, were found to have 10-12% less lung impairment than those working in Nirman Bhawan & Mausam Bhawan. Compared to other buildings in Delhi, the incidences of Eye irritation has been reduced by 52%, Respiratory symptoms by 34%, Headache by 24%, Lung impairment by 12% and Asthma by 9% at PBC.

In any organization upto 50% of the total power consumption is attributed to the Air Conditioning cost.

DRI Flexomix unit helps to reduce the load of air conditioning plant of the building by transferring the heat from the incoming air to the outgoing exhaust air and thus reduces upto 28TR of Fresh Air load even in peak monsoon conditions.
